This combination of flavors always surprise our customers at the Farmers’ Market for the delicious freshness and brightness.
We mix pasture raised eggs from a local farm (you can see it from the lovely yellow color of biscotti) with organic sugar, then we grate the zest of lemons, add a little bit of oil and baking powder for lightness, and then we fold in organic flour and organic pine nuts. We divide the dough in logs and bake them in the oven the first time. Then we hand cut them and bake them a second time for crunch and to keep them fresh for weeks.
They are dairy and preservative-free. We use only natural ingredients, fresh lemons and not the fake lemon flavor. Store in a cool dry place.
Our children love them as a treat, and little snack.
